We returned to Moscow in the autumn, to do a dinner to celebrate the Marina Abramovic retrospective at the Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture in this restored bus garage, built by the Constructivist architect Konstantin Melnikov. We took Justin Piers Gellatly with us, from St John Bakery, to throw his own brand of magic over the puddings. Cocktails, dinner, a Marina performance, followed by Charlie Siem on violin, Rosey Chan on the piano... Here's the menu, intros by Marina:
